La Estrella 2 farm is located in the rural area of Alto San Juan in the Bélen de los Andaquíes municipality in the Andean-Amazonian piedmont of Caquetá department, Colombia. The farm has a size of 7,06 ha, of which 3,42 ha are of conserved forest and 2,03 ha of coffee Castillo and Caturro varieties in shade-grown crops in an agroforestry system.

Highlights

I) La Estrella 2 farm is part of the potential connectivity habitat area for the jaguar and other fauna and flora wild species.

II) Five mammal species are registered on the farm: armadillo, guara, Brown Four-eyed Opossum, coati, and crab-eating raccoon.

III) The farm has one stream protected by riparian vegetation, 3.42 hectares of native forest with species such as ahumado, mortecino, and madura, and 2.03 hectares of coffee under-shade crops in an agroforestry system.
